Traci Boya
ARTIST / DESIGNER / CREATIVE
Building, restoring, and designing stained glass since 2016, with the addition of fused glass in more recent years, our exploration has moved us toward a more modern, painterly approach with the medium of glass.
Creative Traci Boya, has worked in quite a number of mediums throughout her art career: oils, watercolors, colored pencil, pastels, ceramics, collage, assemblage, to name a few, but she says she's found true love in glass.
"I feel each medium I have used has led me up to and prepared me for glass as my expressive choice. One illustrates and then almost sculpts with it. Glass has both a 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional quality, hence it's the best of both worlds.
In painting or drawing, one has to 'add' the light in the image, with glass you use actual light. I find it amazing, illuminating & inspiring. Every project is different and that allows me to be creative, to push boundaries and discover new things I love about it day after day."
